Night of Day 3

A quick and important update we have arrived at our Hotel Ilam Hall which is in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside unfortunately we have no mobile or 3G connections on our phones, there is however a very limited internet connection in the Hotel.

So please dont worry if you dont hear from your children by phone tonight, I am very confident they will contact you tomorrow when we are enroute to Stoke, as soon as we are able to get a signal once again.

Landed safe and sound in a cold Manchester

Off around Old Trafford 

After we dropped our bags at the accommodation we were right into the days activities, lunch at the Red Cafe. After we finished our lovely food we were taken for a tour of the stadium. 

The tour of Old Trafford finished in the clubs Mega Store,  this gave the students time to spend some of their money, we now have a plane full of Manchester Utd memorabilia to bring back to Kuwait.

Platt Lane Manchester City youth training facility 

After we left Old Trafford we took a short coach ride across town to the Manchester Cities Platt Lane training ground, the staff there have been responsable for producing such Premier League as Shaun Wright Phillips, Micah Richards and Stephen Ireland.  The lads were split up into 2 groups and were put through their paces by the 2 coaches, after around 1 1/2 hours everyone returned to the coach, a little tired but all very happy with their experience and hopefully just a little better footballer.
We were unable to take pictures or videos while at Platt Lane due to child protection laws.

The day ended with dinner at the hostel and everyone in bed by 10pm.
